SG/NVG16 - LAND KNOWN AS THE GREEN, OAKTREE AVENUE, PUCKLECHURCH - APPLICATION TO REGISTER AS NT/VG
Further to my e-mail of 12 September 2012, I am writing to notify you that the Public Rights of Way and Commons Registration Sub Committee at the meeting held on 27 September 2012 considered further a report in respect of the above application. After careful consideration of the report detailing the application, the Inspectors report, supporting evidence, responses and relevant matters, the Sub Committee resolved to accept the officer recommendation in the report without amendment. The recommendation being:
(1) That Members accept the recommendation of the (Non-Statutory) Inspector appointed to hold the NSPI for the reasons set out in his report dated 14 December 2011 (that recommendation is reproduced in paragraph 39 of the main report (commencing on page 48) attached as Annex 2 to this report) and decide that the Application is -
- (i) rejected in so far as it relates to the areas of land shown cross hatched on Appendix 6A and 6B of the main report (page 211 and 213 respectively), and
- (ii) accepted in so far as it relates to the area of land shown cross hatched on Appendix 7 to the main report (page 215).
(2) That the objectors and applicants be informed of the Sub Committee's decision and the contents of this report and the main report and the statutory requirements of the Regulations be followed in respect of disposal of the application.
(3) The Head of Legal Services is authorised to amend the register of village greens to include the land shown cross hatched black on the plan attached as Appendix 7 (page 215) to the main report as a village green.”.

The register will be amended in light of the application in due course and part of the application land will become a town or village green in accordance with the decision of the Sub Committee.
