Revel Fortnight

Saturday 9th 10.00 to 12.00
Come and make a miniature garden in the scout hut, create something at the craft table or join in a scavenger hunt on the rec. Children must be accompanied. Tea and coffee and soft drinks available. Entry free. Tickets from Lyn Ford at school or Mike Walkers.

Sunday 10th 10.30
Revel Ramble. Meet in Community Centre car park. An easy three to four mile walk around the area. Organised by the Twinning Association

Monday 11th 7.30
Revel Quiz Night Fleur de Lis Up to 6 people a team (£1.50pp) To book a table in advance (strongly advisable) pop into the Fleur or phone 01179373272 or Elaine on 01179373105. Curry buffet available at £6 per head. Please book when booking a table.

Tuesday 12th 7.30
Revel Skittles at Pucklechurch Social Club (above hall). Teams from the two village social clubs meet head to head to compete for the trophy.

Thursday 14th 7.00
Bob Todd Memorial Pram Race On Recreation Field Teams in fancy dress race prams or other vehicles. BBQ available. In event of rain a course inspection will take place at 4pm and a decision made. Contact Marie Walkley on 9373986 for further details. Prizes: £20 for the team with best fancy dress and £20 per team for the fastest time in each age group

Friday 15th 10.30
South Glos.Walking for Health - Pucklechurch and Siston. Meet at the Fleur de Lis at 10.30. A revised route taking in much of the countryside surrounding the village, with great views of the landscape across fields and through lanes. About 4 miles.

Friday 15th 4.30 – 6.30
Seinior citizen’s entertainment in the Community Centre Demonstration by Pucklechurch Majorettes and refreshments.
 

Revel Day - Sat, 16th June

11.45 Parade judging ~ The theme for this year’s parade is the Olympics

Noon Parade starts with royal family, floats and walking entries. £50 prize for best float, best children’s entry and best adult entry.

Sun 17th 6.30
Revel Service in the vicarage garden (only in the church if very wet). Refreshments will be served, followed by a short service of thanksgiving based on the Olympic theme followed by fellowship with a glass of punch. Everyone welcome

Monday 18th 3.15
Film Night at Pucklechurch Primary School. £2.50 per child (to cover cost of supervision/childcare) Drinks, pop corn and film free!

Tuesday 19th 7.00
Poetry in the garden. Tickets £3.50 to include strawberries and cream and a glass of sparkling. Please bring your favourite poems to share or choose some from the books provided. For further details and to book a place please contact Elaine on 01179373105 or email elainerudge@aol.com

Wed.20th
Revel Bingo at the Pucklechurch Village Sports and Social Club, St Aldams Drive. Traditional bingo night – several games available – cash prizes and key of fortune. Food available. Over 18’s only can play for cash prizes.
