Short Mat Bowls

Looking for something to do during the long winter evenings? Why not come along to the community centre and try short mat bowls? The Pucklechurch club meets on most Monday and Wednesday evenings, 7.30-10.00pm, and on Sunday afternoons, 2.30-5.00pm, all year round. No previous experience is necessary, as our members are only too pleased to help newcomers enjoy playing this friendly game. If you are interested, give Roger Payne a call on 937-3653 or just come along and give it a go.

Cricket Club

The Pucklechurch Cricket Club are pleased to announce that in 2005 we will be expanding to include three senior sides on a Saturday, with the 3rd XI playing at Fry Club. This move is being made to ensure that there are places available for those currently developing through the Youth Teams. In addition, we hope to increase the number of matches played on Sunday afternoons.

Last season we were pleased to welcome Jayasharee Cricket Club from India for a youth match and hope that they will be returning again next year.

We anticipate that cricket training will commence in March 2005 for both senior and youth players. Youth players between the ages of 8 and 18 are welcome.

If you would like any information regarding the club, please call Dean or Vicky on 937-3227.
