This site features the online version of the Pucklechurch News, a quarterly newsletter funded by the parish council and delivered free to all households in the area.
As well as local interest and history, this site contains information on the many clubs, organisations and associations of Pucklechurch village covering:

Tuesday, 9th February: A Kurling Evening. This event is organised by Pucklechurch W.I. for Members, family and Friends only. 7.30 pm in the Village Hall
Wednesday, 10th February: Revel Committee meeting (members only) at 8.00pm in the Rose & Crown
Tuesday, 16th February: Folk Dance Club with Mary Stinchcombe at 8.00pm in the Village Hall
Wednesday, 17th February: Parish Council meeting at 7.30 pm in the Village hall meeting room
Wednesday, 17th February: Pucklechurch W.I. meeting (Members only) at 7.30pm
Friday, 19th February: Mobile Library ~ Free service providing a selection of books (including large print and for children), talking books (CD & cassette format), DVDs and jigsaws. Facilities for anyone with mobility problems. From 2.30 - 2.50pm at the Village Hall and 3.00 - 3.20pm in Homefield Road (Shortwood Road end).
Saturday, 20th February: Quiz Night in aid of the Twinning Association ~ All welcome. Teams (max 6) @ £1.50 per person. Filled rolls available. 7.45pm start at the Top Club (P.V.S.S.C) at St. Aldam’s Drive
Wednesday, 24th February: Lent Course (fours sessions). The course will be based on Gordon Giles's book on food associated with the Bible (course dates: Wednesday, 24th Feb, Thurs 4th and Wednesday, 17th March, Thur 1st April). 7.30pm in The Vicarage
Saturday, 27th February: Church Jumble Sale at 2.30pm in the Village Hall
Saturday, 27th February: Family Disco ~ adults £2, children free ~ Tickets on sale at the club . Non-members are welcome. 7.30pm at the Top Club (P.V.S.S.C) at St. Aldam’s Drive
Wednesday, 3rd March: Gardeners' Club ~ Gladioli: Species & Hybrids, Mr. J. Hazell. Visitors welcome (admission £1), 8.00pm in the Village Hall

Wednesday, 3rd March: Community Plan meeting (committee only). 8.00pm in the Village Hall meeting room

Saturday 6th March: The 2010 Great Cheese and Wine Quiz in aid of NSPCC. The opportunity to try six different wines and cheeses and compete to identify them! Information and tickets here... In the Village Hall from 7.30pm for 8.00 start.
Tuesday 9th March: The Film "The Age of Stupid" (2009, 92 min, 12A) starring Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite and directed by Franny Armstrong. Postlethwaite stars as a man living alone in the devastated world of 2055, looking at old footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance? Everyone is welcome and there is no charge for entrance just turn up on the night. This film will be shown at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.
