Sunday Dog Walks
My name is Ruby, and I am very lucky to live with my owners in Pucklechurch. There are so many wonderful places to go for interesting and exciting walks. I am a friendly dog and do like to socialise. It is nice meeting people, but it is more fun to play with other dogs. I have met lots of very nice dogs and people here in the village, but I have yet to find walking companions.
I was hoping that some of us could meet up on the recreational field on the first Sunday of each month at 10.30am. We could then decide where to go for the next hour or so. Upcoming dates are 7th December, 4th January, 8th February, and 7th March. If you are interested in joining me, have your people contact my people. My owner is Anna. Look forward to seeing you!
Oaktree Picnic on May Day?
Some of the residents who live around the Green on Oaktree Avenue think it would be good to have an opportunity to get together and meet each other in a relaxed and informal way. One idea is a May Day picnic that includes everyone, where various games such as cricket and rounders could be played. How this could best be organised needs to be discussed. If you think this is a good idea, please contact Anna. If you have any suggestions, we would be delighted to hear them. At the moment, we are not sure how to proceed.
