Bob Stone Award for outstanding contribution to Revel

The committee awarded the first annual Bob Stone Award to Bob Todd for his many years of support and encouragement of Revel and the Revel Beer Festival. Carrie Stone presented the award to Diane Todd. The main award plate will be displayed in St. Thomas à Becket church and a smaller version was also presented for the family to keep.

Award of prizes for the Bob Stone memorial photography competition

This year's first place winners received £20 from Revel funds. Second place prizes were photo albums or frames donated by Ace Camera in Yate. All winners receive certificates.  Click here to read more and see the winning entries.

    New Committee Members

Two new members were welcomed to the committee.  Cyndi Hill encouraged people to consider volunteering as this was a very useful way to help the village, make new friends, and have some fun!  If you are interested, come along to the next meeting (see next item).

    Date of Next Planning Meeting

Wednesday, 9th November, at 8pm in the Buff’s Lodge (the small building in corner of the Star Inn car park).
