Welcome to our website

Although Pucklechurch may be more well-known for its annual beer festival and Her Majesty's 'hotel' it has supported an enthusiastic ladies’ hockey team since 1974, when Dyrham & Hinton club (founded in 1967) changed their name to reflect that they were playing in the village.

We always welcome new members, both experienced and youngsters alike.

The Pucklechurch Ladies’ Hockey Club currently fields one team.

The club now plays it's home games at The Ridings High School in Winterbourne. Home games are on Saturdays at 10am, and the team trains on Monday nights between 8 & 9pm.

2006The club will celebrate it's 40th birthday in 2007, and we'd love to hear from anyone who has played for the team in those 40 years.  Anyone out there who remembers forming the club?

This season the team would like to thank Steve Barratt of Dynamic Storage Ltd, Yate, for sponsoring a new set of shirts for away games.

If you are interested in joining Pucklechurch Ladies’ Hockey Club, please do not hesitate to contact us at: ladieshockey@pucklechurch.org or come along to one of our regular training sessions.

Thanks,
